Beach Overview of Marylands Beaches at the Atlantic Coast from the north to the south:

Ocean City (70th Street):
At the beach at the city of Ocean City, there are some shell fragments. In various side roads are parking spaces at no charge. Parking spaces are limited (as at: Mai 2010).

Assateague Island State Park:
Restrooms, showers are provided at the Assateague Island State Park. There is also a small shop that sells snacks. The entrance fee at the Assateague Island State Park is $4.- (Stand: as at 2010).

Assateague Island National Seashore:
At the Assateague Island National seashore, there are two beaches, hiking trails and wild horses. The entrance fee is $15.-. The entrance fee is valid for 7 days. The “America the Beautiful - Interagency Annual Pass” (formerly known as: National Parks Pass) is valid at the Assateague Island National Seashore (as at: Mai 2010).

South Ocean Beach - There are small fragments of shells at the sandy beach of the South Ocean Beach at the Assateague Island National Seashore. A wooden boardwalk leads to the leveled beach. Showers and restrooms are provided at the South Ocean Beach.
