Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore: Impressive sand dunes are situated at the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. The sandy beach at the Lake Michigan
is about 15 miles long. The entrance fee at the West Beach of the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore (from
Memorial Day Weekend until Labour Day Weekend) is $6.- (as at: Mai 2010). There’s a campground at the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore.

West Beach - At the West Beach, there are some small stones. Showers and restrooms are provided. The West Beach Trail beginns near the parking lot.
This trail leads through the beautiful sand dunes.

Porter Beach - Restrooms are provided at the Porter Beach.

Central Beach -
A hikeing trail leads from the parking lot to the beach. At the shoreline of the Central Beach, there are some small stones. Restrooms are provided at this beach.

Mt. Baldy Beach - At the beach at the Mt. Baldy Beach, there are some small stones. Restrooms and foot showers are provided at this beach. A
short hiking trail leads through soft sand to the sand dune with the name Mt. Baldy. Because of the soft sand, the hike to the top of the sand dune is very exhausting.

Michigan City: Restrooms and showers are provided at the beach in Michigan City. The parking fee is $6.- (as at: Mai 2010).
